I really like this work; the styling of the ink is excellent, as well as the subtle color choices. Only thing is that the Omega symbol is not apparent as such at first glance.. it looks more just like a ring or half-circle. I think it would look better with the banner re-positioned so the bottom lines of the Omega aren't blocked by it at all, if such a thing were possible & looked ok.
Thanks a lot for your criticism. The client delivered a sketch which I based my design on. I honestly don't know why I didn't move the banner higher as it should indeed be more obvious that it's an omega symbol. Looking back I'm also not happy with the perspective of the banner. I think the back part of the banner should be lower; essentially more behind the front part of the banner.
Anyway, I'm just re-uploading my logos to get rid of the old BA'AL presentation template. I just spent some 20 minutes adding the colors but I won't spend more time on the construction of the logo, mainly because the client doesn't even use the logo.
Also, both this logo and the Age Of Wolves logo with the wolf heads have proven to me that such illustration-based logos just don't work. Not in my style, anyway. They're a nightmare to use on dark backgrounds. So if it's up to me I won't do this kind of thing anymore.
